Jon Beel Mela : A unique traditional mela (fair) where people of the hills come to the plains and barter their goods according to their needs. When this practice started is not known clearly but the King of Gova gave it an organised form. During Magh every year this Mela is held at Jagiroad of Marigaon district, symbolising the mutual understanding between peoples of hills and plains.
