Umrangso:112 km from Haflong and 224 km from Guwahati lies Umrangso. The huge hydel plant has come up under North- Kopili river. Near Umrangso, there is a hot spring (Garampani), East Electric Power Corporation (NEEPCO) with dams in the the water of which is believed to have medicinal value.
