Poa-Mecca

Poa-Mecca: Poa-Mecca is a place of pilgrimage for the Muslims and is located at Hajo, a small town near Guwahati. There is tomb of Pir Giasuddin Aulia and is held that it has one-fourth sagacity of Mecca and so it known as Poa- Mecca. It is believed that by offering prayer a faithful gains one-fourth (poa) spiritual enlightenment of what could be gaine Mecca and so is known as Poa-Mecca, Hajo Mecca.
